We are a little less than one month away from our final and most enchanting festival of the year, the Wintertide Festival of Lights. This event encompasses our mission as a nonprofit to connect our community to the arts while also inspiring the artist that is, truly, a part of every person. People of all ages and interests join us at Port Angeles Fine Arts Center to celebrate the power that creativity has in shared spaces. PAFAC regulars, locals attending one of our events for the first time, and visitors from out of town are all invited to come together under the glowing lights in Webster’s Woods.
You may be asking yourself, “What is it that makes Wintertide so magical?” From light art installations shining throughout Webster’s Woods to live performances on the meadow’s stage, this event has a myriad of engaging activities that spark joy and add to the magic of the evening. The festival includes food vendors, drink vendors, glow-in-dark art stations, live music from Seattle’s Neon Brass Party Band, aerial performances from Sequim Acrobatics, a thrilling fire show from Fractal Phase, a community lantern parade, and access to charming artisan shopping at our Markers Market that hosts 33 vendors local to the Olympic Peninsula.
Though these activities are the foundation on which we run this festival, the true magic of the event comes from the people who attend. Rain or shine, our community comes together with a common goal to enjoy the spirit of community and the arts at Wintertide. The wonder we all feel when we see twinkling lights during the winter season is amplified by the artistry, creativity, and togetherness that is only present at the Wintertide Festival of Lights.

An additional opportunity to receive tickets to Wintertide while also supporting the mission of Port Angeles Fine Arts Center is to participate in our Winter Glow Raffle. For the past few weeks we have been raffling off prizes to local events on the Olympic Peninsula in collaboration with JFFA and North Olympic Discovery Marathon. We are in the final week of the raffle and will be drawing a winner for a Family Package (4-5 people) to Wintertide Festival of Light. The drawing will occur on Friday, November 21st.
