Through a collaboration with the Olympic Peninsula Authors group eighteen original poems are located on signboards installed throughout the park. Alongside the text of each poem, visitors will find a QR code that leads to this page, where a recording of each poem can be found.
Additionally you can find Poetry in the Park signs at Erickson Park and Quinn Redlin-Kitner Memorial Park in Port Angeles!
Thanks to our Sponsors Odyssey Books and Brown Outdoor, you can enjoy your time exploring our property with our free nature journal checkout kits or family friendly scavenger hunt. We have two kits available–one for adults and one for kiddos. Each contains all the supplies you need to get inspired, learn about your surroundings and craft an entry in our shared nature art journal. To check them out, we simply request a quick sign up in the gallery and a hold on your ID.
For Geocache lovers, we have two caches hidden in the park that we hope will inspire the artist in you!
