Christine Loewe has more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership including serving remotely as the Director of Communications for the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County for 10 years while living in Port Angeles with her two children and husband.

​Loewe brings her expertise in communications, marketing and community engagement to the Executive Director role to help raise the visibility of the center. Additionally she brings her deep commitment to the local community and youth enrichment. Loewe currently serves as a Port Angeles Chamber Board member, City of Port Angeles LTAX Committee member, and she chairs the YMCA Spirit of Team Watson Grant Committee. She additionally volunteers as the Franklin School Garden Coordinator and serves as a coach for Storm King Youth Soccer.

Stacey Rekkedahl

Stacey is a contemporary Norwegian folk artist who grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She received her BFA in cast metals and K-12 Art Education degree from the University of Wyoming and her Masters in Studio Practices for Art Educators from Columbia University. Stacey has shown her folk art across the country and recently curated and exhibited her work in New York City.

Her passion is making art accessible to everyone through a variety of exhibitions and art experiences. With her belief that art is of the people, for the people, and by the people, Stacey is excited to be a part of the PAFAC and its mission.

Lindsey Shepherd

Lindsey is thrilled to join the PAFAC team in this season to help line up events and shows for the community to enjoy and engage with. She is new to the area and has been enjoying the many outdoor adventures the Peninsula has to offer. Lindsey brings with her a degree in the arts, 3 years served on the Bellevue Arts Museum Board of Directors, 10+ years of event planning, and time spent in the food industry working as a chef and at an innovation lab.

Rachel Storck

Rachel is an artist who has exhibited her own work throughout Michigan, in addition to organizing two fundraising art shows in her previous home, Marquette, MI.  She holds a BA in Photography from Northern Michigan University.

Rachel brings an eclectic toolkit from her varied work experiences as a cheesemonger, biological science aid, photographer, dishwasher, farmhand, and retail sales associate. She is delighted to be a part of the intersection between art and community as the Community Engagement Director at the PAFAC.

Karen has a degree in accounting and has 10 years experience as a federal auditor. She owned and ran a screen printing business for the past 15 years until her move to Port Angeles in 2022. She dabbles in oil painting for fun. Karen is in awe of the majesty of the Webster Woods, where the ongoing conversation between art and nature lives large and is happy to be helping with the finances at this inspiring place.

Mandy has over 15 years of experience working with children in outdoor and environmental education. As an educator and outdoor enthusiast, she is most excited to be connecting local youth to nature, art, and science through the unique setting of the PAFAC.

Drawn to PAFAC's Confluence of art, nature, and science; Summer is passionate about creating experiences where people can explore, create, reflect, and transform ideas into reality. A documentary photographer and visual storyteller, she brings a background in Anthropology, Sustainable Tourism, Documentary Studies, six years as an Academic Library Specialist, and experience in photography instruction, exhibition, publication, and film festivals.

The Olympic Peninsula's wildness and natural beauty brought her to Port Angeles, where Summer loves to sail, free dive, paddle board, support ocean conservation efforts, and be on or in salt water as much as possible. When not coordinating fun and exciting events for the community to enjoy, you can find her working on conservation stories, volunteering at Feiro Marine Life Center, hiking the endless waterfall trails of the peninsula, and tidepooling with her family.
