Spend a day immersed in the beauty of nature and art with Elevate Outdoors and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center! We'll gather inspiration on a kayak tour in the morning, then spend the afternoon exploring the Fine Arts Center's Kinship exhibition and creating seaweed gel prints.

Terrarium Workshop with INSIDE
Thursday, August 6th | 5:30PM-8:30PM | PAFAC Members: $95 | General: $105
Join us for a guided workshop where participants will create their own terrarium step by step! The process includes learning about the layers that make up a healthy terrarium, selecting and arranging plants, adding natural elements such as stone, wood, or moss, and designing a balanced miniature landscape. Along the way, participants will receive instruction on proper plant placement, maintenance, and long-term care to help their terrarium thrive. No prior experience is needed.

Clay Workshop: Create A Succulent Planter

In celebration of the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center’s Kinship: A Collaboration with Nature exhibit, join Olympic Coast Creative, Airport Garden Center, and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center for a special hands-on clay workshop inspired by the beauty and creativity of the natural world. During this workshop, you’ll create your own unique succulent planter from clay using hand building techniques. No prior clay experience is necessary.

Fall Afterschool Art Club
Wednesdays | September 30th-November 18th | 2:30PM-5PM

Enroll in an interdisciplinary Fall Afterschool Art Club at Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Led by the Education Director, Mandy Miller, this 8-week club inspires young creatives to engage with art and nature through a creative lens. Participants explore a vast array of art mediums and engage with learning at a hands-on level.

Every Wednesday, from September 30 to November 18, art club participants will enjoy all that Port Angeles Fine Arts Center has to offer.

Pumpkin Carving Workshop
Saturday, October 17th | Entry: Coming soon

Get festival-ready at a Pumpkin Carving Workshop led by a professional artist at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Participants will learn carving techniques, explore creative design ideas, and create a finished pumpkin to be entered directly into the Autumntide Festival Pumpkin Carving Contest. All pumpkins are included in the workshop fee, and every creation will be displayed during the festival for judging, with a chance to win prizes donated by local Olympic Peninsula businesses.

Perfect for all ages and skill levels, this hands-on workshop is a fun and creative way to be part of one of the season’s most beloved community traditions.

OCC: Wintertide Clay Lantern Workshop
Saturday, November 14th or Sunday, November 15th | More Details Coming Soon

Create your own handcrafted clay lantern with Olympic Coast Creative in celebration of the Wintertide season at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Participants will shape and design a unique lantern to glow beautifully during the winter months, adding a personal touch to the season of light.
