Registration for Summer Camp opens on Wednesday, February 4th. Register your young creative(s) for a dynamic week of exploration, interdisciplinary education, and artistry. With Webster's Woods as the backdrop for their learning, summer camp attendees spend August embracing nature, art, fun, and friendship.

Eternal Echoes Opening Reception

The Opening Reception of Eternal Echoes is an evening curated to bring community together through engagement with art and intentional conversation. Challenge your perspective on death and watch as we see loss transformed into legacy through the arts.

Eternal Echoes Exhibition

The Eternal Echoes exhibition brings together the past and present by examining historic death rituals alongside emerging contemporary practices. It highlights artists and death workers who engage with mortality in thought-provoking ways—challenging taboos while honoring traditions and the deceased. Eternal Echoes invites viewers to reconsider how we engage with death, how we honor those who came before us, and how art can offer a bridge between the living and the departed.

Worthy Wednesday: Mighty Pine Brewing

Enjoy an evening at Mighty Pine Brewing while making an impact for Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Mighty Pine's Worthy Wednesday is a series of nights where a percentage of the profits go to participating local non-profit organizations. Join us on February 11th from 2PM-9PM to drink a brew, enjoy conversation, and support Port Angeles Fine Arts Center's non-profit mission.

Volunteer Day: Webster's Woods

Spend an afternoon in Webster's Woods at Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Alongside staff and volunteers, help support the mission of maintaining outdoor spaces designed for community. Art and nature intertwine in Webster's Woods, volunteer a helping hand as an individual, or with your own community-based group, to keep Webster's Woods accessible, beautiful, and maintained.

The Living Experience Lecture Event at Field Arts & Events Hall

Port Angeles Fine Arts Center presents The Living Experience speaker series where renowned authors, researchers, artists, and cultural organizations will share their informed perspectives on topics related to death. The Living Experience series shines a light on death workers and historians whose practices engage mortality with curiosity, care, and creative rigor. From working in morgues, to being an autopsy photographer, to researching the history of books bound in human skin, to creating mourning jewelry, this lecture event will look to challenge cultural taboos, honor traditions and the deceased, and offer a look at what it means to work within the death industry.

Field Notes Opening Reception

The Opening Reception of Field Notes is an evening dedicated to the practice of looking closely. Field Notes captures fleeting encounters and transforms them into enduring reflections through art. Join us at 1203 E Lauridsen Blvd. to celebrate the opening of this exhibit and meet exhibiting artists.

Field Notes is a visual love letter to the birds of the Pacific Northwest—an exhibition where art, observation, and reverence for the natural world converge. Inspired by the legacy of John James Audubon and rooted deeply in the unique ecology of this region, the show brings together contemporary artists whose work responds to the presence of birds not only as subjects of beauty, but as symbols of change, migration, resilience, and interconnectedness.

Art in Bloom

Art in Bloom is an annual celebration of flowers that has been held since 2004 in honor of former board member, Mim Foley. Mim was involved with the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center for decades in various volunteer positions and served as president of the Friends of the PAFAC. She was instrumental in raising awareness of the center’s mission. As a docent, she lead tours for school children and wrote grants. Join us in celebrating her legacy on Mother's Day in the courtyard.

Book Launch: Laura E. Garrard & Linda B. Myers
Thursday, May 14th  | 5:30PM-7PM | Entry: Free & All Are Welcome

Join us to celebrate Port Angeles poets, Linda B. Myers and Laura E. Garrard, at a launch for their respective chapbooks, Load-Bearing Walls and Paddling the Sweet Spot Between Life and Death. Their books were simultaneously selected and published through a contest by Finishing Line Press. Myers and Garrard will read from and sign their books, which complement one another in vulnerability, candor, craft and creativity. This is a free event open to the public.

Blooming Artists: The Creative Start Showcase & Celebration!

We are thrilled to once again partner with the Port Angeles School District, WSU Extension, and the Washington State Arts Commission to bring youth-inspired programming to our community. Join us as we celebrate arts, science and interdisciplinary learning through a pop-up exhibition showcasing the work of more than 250 K-2nd grade students from Franklin, Jefferson, and Dry Creek Elementary.

View their work on display in the Esther Webster Gallery, celebrate a year of arts-integrated learning at our Creative Start Celebration party, and embrace the joy of creativity!
