Marine Discovery Center: Listening Session
Saturday, February 8th | 10-11:30AM

Help craft an art integration strategy for the new Marine Discovery Center, a public-private partnership with NOAA Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary.

Listening sessions will explore how art can best be integrated into the facilities, exhibits, and building with the intent of using art's emotional power to help achieve the facility's conservation education goals, inspiring humans to take action to protect and care for wild spaces. Practical consideration about how to fund, select, and care for art installations in an aquarium will also be discussed. Free and open to the public; artists in particular are encouraged to attend.

Listening sessions will last approximately 90 minutes.
