Celebration of Shadows Fall Festival

Saturday, October 17th, 2026 | 5:00-8:30 PM

The Celebration of Shadows Fall Festival is a unique opportunity for people of all ages to embrace the change of the seasons and experience the magic of fall.

This annual event at Port Angeles Fine Arts Center includes a community call-for-art, where everyone is encouraged to carve a pumpkin and enter it into the Pumpkin Carving Contest for a chance to win a prize supplied by Olympic Peninsula local businesses. With multiple categories for different ages and abilities, this event results in Webster's Woods' trails being lined with charming, spooky, artistic, silly, and creative pumpkins for the night of the festival while judging takes place.

Attendees also enjoy local food vendors, a beer garden, live music, professional theatre performances, and free art & activity stations that are open to all ages.

The Celebration of Shadows Fall Festival is free to enter with a suggested donation of $5. Donations help us keep this event open and accessible for everyone.

Interactive Art Stations

In partnership with local organizations, Fall Festival provides multiple engaging and creative art & activity stations. Each station is free and open to attendees of all ages. In the past, these have included: live spooky stories in the gallery, a seasonally-themed scavenger hunt, mask-making, and more.

Shadow Puppet Theater

The Celebration of Shadows Fall Festival, each year, presents a new and engaging show surrounding the event's theme: shadows. Attend this free performance held at the Community Playhouse during the festival.

Beer Garden +Food

Food and beverage vendors supply the crowds with delicious snacks, meals, treats, and drinks during the Fall Festival. Support local businesses while walking the pumpkin-lined trails, listening to spooky stories, or while watching live performances.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Enter the Pumpkin Carving Contest with a home-carved pumpkin or a workshop-carved pumpkin. Each pumpkin entered will become a part of the festival and will line the trails in Webster's Woods during the event. Judges and community-members will select winners to receive a series of prizes supplied by local businesses on the Peninsula.
