Live performances are an unforgettable part of the Wintertide Festival of Light, bringing energy, artistry, and excitement to the celebration throughout the evening. Previous festivals have featured performances by the Neon Brass Party Band, Sequim Acrobatics, and Fractal Phases’ spectacular fire show.
Each year, the Wintertide Festival of Light brings together a wonderful selection of local vendors offering delicious food, warm drinks, sweet treats, and unique handcrafted goods. Whether you are enjoying festive flavors as you stroll through the lights or shopping for one of a kind gifts, there is something for everyone. The Light Art Experience is a signature feature of the Wintertide Festival of Light, transforming the festival grounds into an immersive outdoor gallery of illuminated art. Each year, the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center curates and installs a collection of unique light based artworks that inspire wonder, creativity, and connection. As you wander through the displays, you will discover captivating installations that celebrate the magic of light and the spirit of the season. Stayed tuned for this year’s light artists!
Parking at the festival is limited but nearby options are available. Our onsite lot accommodates about 30 cars, with additional street parking throughout the neighborhood, as well as nearby lots at Franklin Elementary School and Peninsula College on Lauridsen Blvd, both about a 3 to 5 minute walk away. One accessible parking space is available next to the gallery, and drop-offs are welcome for those needing assistance. Please check in with the parking attendant on Jones Street for guidance.
Where do I buy tickets?
Tickets will be for sale through the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center’s website prior to the event. Please keep an eye out this fall for early bird pricing to make sure you don’t miss out on this popular annual event.
Are pets allowed?
While dogs are usually allowed in Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park, during festivals and outdoor events, Port Angeles Fine Arts Center asks that you leave your pet at home.
For the safety of your pet, and all event attendees, please come back with your pet another time. Pets will not be allowed during the festival. Registered service animals will be permitted.
What should I bring with me?
Port Angeles Fine Arts Center utilizes the grounds of Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park as our outdoor event venue. Please wear layers to guarantee your comfortability. There are heated seating areas by fire tables and outdoor heaters throughout the festival but temperatures may vary.
