Step into the creative spirit of the mid-century era with hands-on mod art stations throughout The Mod Lounge. Inspired by the bold, playful style of the 1950s and the original artwork of Port Angeles Fine Arts Center founder Esther Webster, guests are invited to experiment with color, pattern, and printmaking. Try your hand at creating a one-of-a-kind piece while exploring Esther’s artistic legacy and the creative energy of her iconic property.

Start your evening at The Mod Lounge experiencing The Infinite Love Triangle, a jazz trio that will be on hand to provide swinging and bossa nova vibes. The Infinite Love Triangle plays almost exclusively Joel Ricci’s original jazz compositions written in prototypical “jazz standard” style. The group features local artists Sal Michael on drums and Kendall Melton on electric and stand up bass.

Step into The Mod Lounge and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the unmistakable style of the Mid-Century era, from the music and mood to the furniture and lighting that bring the space to life.
To help create that atmosphere, we’ve partnered with Rosie’s Retro Closet, a local Port Angeles vintage curator and refurbisher. As an event sponsor, Rosie’s Retro Closet is filling The Mod Lounge with a thoughtfully selected collection of mid-century pieces, giving guests the chance to settle into the era and experience the historic Webster property in a whole new way.

Our onsite lot accommodates about 30 cars, with additional street parking throughout the neighborhood. One accessible parking space is available next to the gallery, and drop-offs are welcome for those needing assistance. Please check in with the parking attendant on Jones Street for guidance.
Tickets will be for sale through the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center’s website prior to the event. We recommend purchasing in advance in case the event sells out.
