A Wintertide to Remember

Thank you all for a fantastic Wintertide Festival! We’re so grateful for all those who were able to join us for a magical evening. We hope you’ll indulge us in a post-event celebration as we share some photos from the event taken by our friends at Cascadia Films.

This year was certainly the rainiest Wintertide to date, but that didn’t stop you all! Our collaborators weren’t phased either; when we got the forecast for 100% chance of rain (and lots of it) during the event, all of our food vendors, performers, artists, and activity station leaders said “Let’s do it!”. You all are amazing and there’s a lot to be said about that Pacific Northwesterner spirit.

From the lovely community lantern walk to the performances by Fractal Phase, Heather Dawn Sparks and Noah Smith to the interactive stations from Dungeness River Nature Center, Janine Miller and Marcell Marias attendees made the most of the evening for sure.

A huge THANK YOU to our sponsors, performers, vendors, artists and volunteers for making this event a success- we couldn’t do it without you.

Although the festival is over, there is still one more weekend to shop at the Makers Market in the gallery- open Thursdays-Sundays, 11am-5pm through December 17th. Don’t miss our last special extended evening on Friday, December 15th from 5-8pm. Stroll through the forest paths lined with light art, shop at the market, and enjoy complimentary coffee and hot chocolate while you cozy up to a fire table in the courtyard!

We hope you enjoy these photos that capture the thrill of this year’s Festival of Lights. Thank you for your support, and we will see you again at Wintertide 2024.
